Prince William Shares His Take on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Concerns

The Prince of Wales highlights a cause recently championed by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Prince William has shared his views on a topic that his brother Prince Harry and sister-in-law Meghan Markle brought into the spotlight just a day earlier.

On Tuesday, November 25, the Prince of Wales visited North Wales again, this time making his first stop in Colwyn Bay. He spent time on the beach with members of the Youth Ocean Network and praised the “passionate group of young people” for their dedication.

“Great to be back in North Wales and a first visit to Colwyn Bay!” the Prince and Princess of Wales wrote on their official Instagram account. “Starting the day hearing about the work of the Marine Conservation Society on the Welsh seafront. A brilliant environmental charity that’s been dedicated to protecting the ocean for over 40 years.”

The post added: “Amazing also to hear about their Youth Ocean Network — a passionate group of young people driving change and shaping the future of ocean conservation. Inspiring work that shows the power of people coming together to protect our planet.” The same message was also shared in Welsh.

William’s strong support for young people who are actively fighting for change comes one day after Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation released a report about the harmful effects of digital media and artificial intelligence on youth.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s foundation surveyed 106 young people aged 10 to 25 from Australia, Canada, Panama, the United Kingdom, and the United States. When asked to describe their online experience, many used words such as “overwhelming,” “confusing,” and “overstimulating.”
