Pakistan Strongly Rejects Taliban’s Claims of Cross-Border Airstrike

(ISPR) Lieutenant dismissed the allegations as “completely baseless” and reiterated that Pakistan has never attacked Afghanistan. 

“We are a responsible state. Whenever we conduct any operation, we do it openly and we never target civilians,” he said, adding that Pakistan strictly follows the principles of a sovereign country in all its responses. 

The strong reaction came after Afghan Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that Pakistani drones and aircraft struck parts of Khost, Kunar, and Paktika provinces, killing at least 10 people. Local officials in Khost also alleged the attacks were carried out by drones and fighter jets.
